The Destructors is a very intriguing short story in which the author, Graham Greene, narrates the plight of an interesting young man spiritedness in post-World War II London. Trevor, or T, as the put off prefers to call him is a unique young man with agitating yet disturbing sentiments on life and societal acme; moreover, he is the storys protagonist. From the beginning, Graham Greene establishes that Trevor is different than the otherwise boys when the fifteen yr old says, Its a beautiful fireside.
